We set the standards for all things paddy in the South East Asia region, thanks to our emphasis on world-class agritech, a relentless commitment to nurture our community, and our time-tested recognition by the Malaysian government.
What We Do
We supply all paddy farm inputs, machinery, technology, and industrial training to paddy farmers throughout Malaysia.
From our humble beginnings as a rice mill company to the certified paddy seeds producer preferred by many Malaysian customers, we have evolved and adapted to the needs of Malaysia over the past 20 years.
Today, our operations revolve around 2 main facets: pre-harvest and post-harvest.
What We Focus
Production
We produce high quality certified paddy seeds by working together with proactive farmers. We maintain stringent quality guidelines as all paddy seeds produced will be examined and approved by the Malaysia Agriculture Department.
Research & Development
20 years in pioneering the industry has taught us that leaders never stop learning. Seri Merbok runs a cutting-edge laboratory to continuously refine the quality of our paddy seeds. Special paddy research plots are dedicated to our R&D team in search of better and safer ways to produce rice.
Distribution
We connect farmers and marketers of paddy seeds and rice across Malaysia through trading, processing, and marketing, as well as offering a range of seminars and roadshows for farmers and training programs. In accordance to our commitment to be a fair and sustainable business, we are committed to delivering knowledge that matters to our clients, while ensuring that our operations are managed in a sustainable and safe manner.

Seri Merbok lives by "knowledge is power." One of our major corporation milestones was the launch of Asia Pacific's first Clearfield Training Center (Pusat Tani Clearfield) in 2017. The training center, a joint project between Seri Merbok, Malaysian Agricultural Research & Development Institute (MARDI), and BASF (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd serves as a resource center where farmers can access in-depth training on optimal use of Clearfield Production System.
The establishment of the Clearfield Training Center plays a synergistic role with our CSR initiatives to improve local rice cultivation skills, which in turn benefits the farmers and their community. The knowledge and increase in yields are bringing Malaysia one step closer to its goal: self-sufficiency for rice production.
